Welcome to the Defense Cost and Resource Center (DCARC), an organizational element
of OSD’s Cost Assessment and Program Evaluation (CAPE) directorate. The primary
role of the DCARC is to collect historical and current Major Defense Acquisition
Program (MDAP) and Major Automated Information System (MAIS) cost and software resource
data in a joint service environment. This data is available for use by authorized
government analysts to estimate the cost of ongoing and future government programs.
