The
DCARC, which is
part of
OSD Cost Assessment
and Program Evaluation (CAPE), exists to collect Major Defense Acquisition Program
(MDAP) cost and software resource data and make those data available to authorized
Government analysts. This website is the authoritative source of information associated
with the Cost and Software Data Reporting (
CSDR)
system, including but not limited to: policy and guidance, training materials, and
data.
CSDRs are
DoD’s only systematic mechanism for
capturing completed development and production contract "actuals" that
provide the right visibility and consistency needed to develop credible cost estimates.
Since credible cost estimates enable realistic budgets, executable contracts and
program stability,
CSDRs
are an invaluable resource to the
DoD
cost analysis community and the entire
DoD
acquisition community.
The EVM Central Repository (CR) is a joint effort between DCARC and OUSD/AT&L to provide centralized reporting, collection, and distribution for Key Acquisition EVM data. The CR provides a reliable source of authoritative EVM data and access for OSD, the Services, and the DoD Components. The CR houses Contract Performance Reports (CPRs), Contract Funds Status Report (CFSR), and the Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) submitted by contractors (and reviewed and approved by Program Management Offices) for ACAT 1C & 1D (MDAP) and ACAT 1A (MAIS) programs. There are now approximately 80 ACAT 1A, 1C, and 1D programs and 210 contracts and tasks reporting data into the EVM-CR.
